Okay, I finally got it. I didn't understand your reference
to Philip's changeset and was waiting all the time for
someone to adapt the kernel .bb, as it was done earlier for
the -sa kernels.

So, the question now is: although not necessary to compile,
shouldn't handhelds-pxa_2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh39.bb use
gcc 3.3.4 instead of 3.3.3? I have compiled it with 3.3.4
and neither ran into compile nor runtime errors on my
iPAQ 3970, so in my opinion there's no reason to stick
with 3.3.3.
