Then I don't understand how it could work for you.
According to
  http://oe-devel.bkbits.net:8080/openembedded/anno/packages/linux/handhelds-pxa_2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh39.bb@1.4?nav=index.html|src/|src/packages|src/packages/linux|hist/packages/linux/handhelds-pxa_2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh39.bb|diffs/packages/linux/handhelds-pxa_2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh39.bb@1.4
the latest .bb file still references 3.3.3, which is not
what gets built by bitbake if you really start from
scratch (rm -rf tmp).

Can you check that your copy of this .bb really contains
the -3.3.3 suffix? Do you perhaps have an old
arm-linux-gcc-3.3.3 in your
   tmp/cross/bin
directory?
