Newbie question concerning bootldr source

Hallo,

for my turnkey system i want to turn off the bootloader splash screen or
change the picture of the screen. as some of you from the mailing list
already pointed out this is only possible by changing the source code and
compiling the bootldr myself. however i already have a problem by finding
and downloading the right source code. i was at the cvs site but i could
only download one file at a time. isn't there some kind of snapshot of the
source code available for download? all files in one tarball or something
like that? or is there an easier way by downloading the files vom cvs? as i
think that compiling your own bootldr is a bit tricky and risky i don't
want to do anything wrong which could lead to a damaged ipaq.
sorry for these stupid newbie questions but i am not familiar with cvs and
never worked with it before.

thanks in advance for any help.

best regards
Martin
