Thanks, I can now detect the pcmcia card (CF memory card).
Mind me for asking some more questions as I am not very sure of the newer
capabilities (ide, vfat, dual-boot) of the bootloader. What should I do next
to mount a vfat volume? I looked through the help of the ide and vfat
commands and even the source codes, and found it not useful. I tried the ide
attach command but I don't really know what i/o addr to use for the command.
The vfat mount command also returns very arcane (to me) messages. Where can
I find more comprehensive help/documentation on the commands of the boot
loader.
I also noticed that the bootloader 2.18.24 has the following possible bugs.
(I am not sure if they had been resolved in the latest version):
- in the bootloader mode, when I select "boot operating system" option by
clicking the "task manager" button, the ipaq will boot a fresh copy of the
Windows CE OS instead of the previous copy in DRAM.
- When I suspend the CE OS in the ipaq and resume again, I noticed the
device actually seemed to perform a soft reset instead of a resume. Is
resume operations handled by the bootloader as well?
