Testing bootloader

Hi,

I would like to test a ram version of a bootloader, but it just doesn't
work for me for some reason. From what I found in the list and web, I am
supposed to:

1.) compile bootldr
2.) load ram 0xc0022000 1
3.) send wince-bootldr via xmodem
4.) call .

I tried not only own-compiled images, but even some wince-bootldrs from
bootldr's ftps.

But when I do it like this, this is what happens:

---
load ram 0xc0022000 1
ready for xmodem download..
boot> call .
Calling fcn=C0022000
  a0=00000000
  a1=00000000
  a2=00000000
  a3=00000000
---
And thats all. After that the only thing I can do is reset.
Please, any ideas are welcome, I would like to find out, why the boot
vfat doesn't work for me, but it seems that I first have to find out why
this is not working for me.
