The parrot bootloader on the 3800 allows a full memory reset by holding down the "outermost action keys" while pushing the reset button. This seems to be a good and useful feature for the Linux bootloader - clear DRAM on that condition (important for a PocketPC installation).
 
Or has this already been implemented?
