I would also like some more info on the "boot ide" command
and the partitions types needed on the Flash/Microdrive.

I tried today with "bootldr-2.18.12", I made the first partition
of type 6 (FAT16) 1Mbyte and the second partition of type 6
(FAT16) the rest of the Flash.

In the first partition I have "zImage" and on the second partition
I have "initrd", I modified "linuxarg" as follows:

   initrd root=/dev/ram0 init=/bin/sh console=ttySA0

I then type the following:

   boot ide

and I got the following (hope it is something usefull to look at):
