strstr and other functions

I found this strstr somewhere on the Net, so I'll see if plugging that
in works, although I have a feeling I'm just doing something really
silly.

In fact, browsing some more, I find isalnum right there. Mental note:
don't complain when I'm sleepy.

isblank is still called isalpha, so I feel marginally better.

The bootldr already works perfectly well without all of this. Why am I
trying to get it to -Wall -Werror again? Right, I'm being
anal-retentive.. ;)

Time to get a fresh copy out of CVS. I've messed up this one rather
badly.
