Dear Bootloader - Team,
We installed the bootldr 2.18.01 on our ipaq. It worked just fine, and we
also had the Familiar Linux Distribution 0.51 running. So we decided to try
the mLinux0.9 LISA Distribution to see the differences.
Well after we installed the Bootldr CRL/OHH ARM Bootldr
(bootldr-0000-03062001), any xmodem downloads fail.
The bootldr starts just fine, we are able to communicate via serial con with
the ipaq, but are not able to receive any files using the xmodem. After
about 30 secs it stops with the message:
boot> load kernel
ready for xmodem download.. so we start sending the kernel file
ABORTED
Download Failed!
error occured during download. aborting.
We saw that other people had the same probs with the xmodem transfer, so we
changed the bootldr parms to
xmodem_timeout = 0xffffffff
xmodem_one_nak = 0xffffffff
We saved the params, restarted the ipaq. Both params were set to the value
wie stored before.
The xmodem transfer still stops after about 30 secs, with the same error
message.
I dont know it migth just be a configuration error, or maybe what I really
dont hope the bootldr is damaged.
Please tell us if there is anything else u need us to send u.
Thanks,
Jens & Daniel
