Hi,
after running Familiar 0.5 with Bootldr 2.16.19 for a while I decided
yesterday to upgrade to Bootldr 2.18.1 and after that to Familiar 0.51.
An unwise decision... because
After upgrading the bootldr to 2.18.1 (without problems, it printed
the usual writing, verifying, protect message), I took it off the cradle,
pressed the reset button and saw - for one second - the new bootimage from
bootldr 2.18.1. Then - suddenly - the screen began to flicker and the ipaq
turned itself off... and it stayed this way.
When I put it in the cradle, the recharging light does not flash nor will
it turn on. I even tried the hard reset.
So. I guess I didn't trash the flash, because the bootldr procedure seemed
to went fine. What could have happend? I guess I must send it to Compaq,
but I'd like to know what's going.
Any ideas?
Yours,
