Hi Ben,
it looks like the root image that you sent via ymodem was quite small. Are you
sure that you actually sent the jffs2 image?
Try this: Reboot the iPaq with the stylus and hold the action button. The iPaq
should vibrate for a second. It is normal that the display does not change.
You should now have a serial console. Just try the "load root" step again.
(If you use minicom, be aware that it may have a bug that corrupts the file
selector view if some of the filenames in the current directory are too
long.)
