Hi,
I posted something about this to iPAQ@handhelds.org, but since then I've
narrowed it down to bootloader 2-14-14. I have an iPAQ 3670.
I upgraded just fine from bootloader 2-14-8 to 2-14-14 (located on the
handhelds ftp site, with md5sum 17a0347bfc3eaab58601315e8e39517b
bootldr-0000-2.14.14-bigkernel-mono).
With bootloader 2-14-14, whenever I would put the iPAQ in sleep mode, the
resume would not work correctly. Specifically, the h3600_ts module would
not function correctly, giving the error message "h3600_flite_power:
timeout" after I would resume, as if it could not talk to the micro. This
happened every time I would try to resume. I tried it with a stock 0.4
installation (2.4.3 kernel), as well as a "pre-0.5" installation, with a
2.4.7 kernel (I tried both a devfs build and a non-devfs build). Each of
these kernels (with respect to this problem) behaved the same way, and each
kernel seemed to work fine with bootloader 2-14-8.
After I switched back to version 2-14-8, the problem went away.
I don't really need a newer bootldr version, so 2-14-8 works great for me,
but I'd thought I'd send this out as a heads up, in case this is an actual
problem (and not just a freak occurence on my iPAQ).
Searching the mailing archives, I noticed one other person having a similiar
problem, and they also happened to be using bootloader 2-14-14 (in their
case, with kernel version 2.4.6, I believe).
