I'm having trouble getting to the restoring stage working because I can't
get to the "bootldr's boot prompt" when I follow these steps :-
Then, reboot your iPAQ by pushing the recessed reset button at the lower
right of the unit while holding the center of the joypad (you will have to
remove the iPAQ from its cradle to access the reset button). Put it back
into the cradle and press the space bar into the terminal emulator or press
the Calendar button on the iPAQ. You should get bootldr's boot prompt "boot>".
As the windows ROM Upgrade refuses to work, I'm unsure of how to continue
in restore the IPAQ back to WINCE.
The "Task Manager" button loads up the OS and the "Calendar" button does
nothing but highlight the menu item. Holding the down key highlights the
penguin also. I'm running Rev 2.18.01 Boot Loader.
When I boot up the OS, I just get an X screen with the "Blackbox Menu"
options, "xterm", "Restart" and "Exit". "xterm" does nothing, "Restart"
restarts X and "Exit" doesn't shutdown the X Server. Any other way to get
the xterm up to shutdown and all the describe things to get the ROM
restored to WinCE.
I'm running IPAQ H3600 which had previously WinCE 1.87 ROM on it.
