Is my ipaq a brick??

I had recently installed familiar version 6 on my ipaq 3870. I was
trying to make a backup of the image, and from the bootloader I typed

boot> copy root asset

This gave a bunch of error messages, so I removed the ipaq from the
cradle and pressed the reset button (bottom fight). Then the bootloader
screen faded out and my ipaq will not restart or anything.

Any suggestions?
