Hi, bootloader helper:

I'm installing Familiar v0.5.3 to my iPAQ 3600. I flashed bootloader to iPAQ, I got splash screen showed on it. Then I connect it to Hyper terminal, and flashed file system(task-bootstrap.jffs2) to iPAQ. then I issue "boot" command form Hyper terminal. I was happy that it seems everything works fine: it let enter user name and password. After that I can list directroies and view files. The only thing I have doubt on is there is just a small penguin showed on a black background in my iPAQ. I thought it at least I can key in some command on it.

As I don't have network connection at that moment, so I closed Hyper terminal, and stop installation there. I even checked that if I reset the iPAQ, I still can got that little penguin. then I unplugged it.

But next day, I found there is nothing on the screen suprisely. I reset it by pushing the recessed reset button, nothing happened. I reset it while holding the central of the joypad. bootloader didn't come! I am so scared that my iPAQ is dead.

I have few questions:
1. is there different version of bootloader for iPAQ 3600, 3700,3800.. or they can use the same one?
2. is there different version of file system for iPAQ 3600, 3700, 3800.. or they can use the same one? if I installed a wrong one, is it fatal?
3. is it possible that bootload is overwrited by file system? why I can't start it?

what should I do now? can you help me please? I'm in anxious.

regards
xuemei
