Don'y get the bootldr's command line prompt

I've made a new Bootloader installing (version 2.18.01).
 I've successfully passed the bootloader installing
        a) Flashing the bootloader -> message : You appear to ave a
valid OHH Bootloader 2.18.1 in flash
                                                           To access this
Bootloader on the serial port, hold the joypad center and reset
        b) Verifying the bootloader -> message : The same like above.

1. Do you thing I have can use an old version ?

2. If yes, could you recommend me about the bootloader the best version
for the iPAQ 3630 that I could use without any problems ?
