BootBlaster3900 doesn't compile

Hi,

tried downloading the BootBlaster 3900 sources and
compiling them:

I get the following link error:

zlibce_static.lib : fatal error LNK1136: invalid or
corrupt file
Error executing link.exe.

I made sure that the zlibce_static.lib was downloaded
in binary mode and all the rest.. I'm using M$
embedded VC++ 3.00

just hoping to switch to Linux for my 3900..
