Hi, all.
I am just getting started with my new iPAQ H3850 and I am considering
seriously putting Linux on it. Only to not mess it all up from the
start, I would like to get some hints on the installation (sorry if
this was already discussed, please give me pointers).
1. I read in some message in the archive that bootldr 2.18.48 is the
latest stable version - is this written on the site? I think it is a
very useful piece of information for people like me.
2. Is there any document describing how I can upgrade the bootldr
once I have installed Linux? Is there a chance I will have to
reinstall everything if I upgrade the bootldr?
3. I am a programmer, too, and am curious about building bootldr
myself. Where should I start?
4. I am in Brazil. Is there any hope for me, in case my iPAQ turns
into a brick?
I would like to greet all of you who did this. It is very nice to
know I can have Linux on my pocket :-)
Regards,
Douglas Atique
