bootldr on toshiba e570

hi to everyone...

i've a toshiba e570, same hardware of ipaq 38xx..
it's possible load the bootldr on my pocketpc?

and if i try to load the bootldr on my device and if the device is
incompatible, the bootldr can tell this to me before is too late and i
need to send the device to the assistance for a rom substitution?
