Thanks for expressing an interest in helping with the bootldr. Have you checked the code out from CVS?
There are things listed in bootldr/TODO and at http://www.handhelds.org/projects/h3900.html
One thing to do is to run the h3900 BootBlaster and get a reg dump. Also to save out copies of the firmware, wince_image.gz and asset.gz.
We used bootldr-2.19.24.
Most of the work now is in the kernel. I'm about to commit the latest update, which were able to get built and to at least uncompress the zImage on the H3900. Actually, it is getting as far as setting up the mmu tables now.
