Walter,
The bootldr has the capability to read files from JFFS2 and to upload to the host PC via xmodem and to write to CF or IDE partitions or VFAT filesystem. We might have to tweak the implementation of a couple of the commands to enable you to do what you want. I will investigate and follow up.
