3870 and wrong BootBlaster version - can I reboot?

hi!

I just the old version (1.8 instead of 1.18) of BootBlaster when I
wanted to flash new bootldr. It stoped at:

BootBlaster error
erase_flash unlock status -> 0xaa00aa

is it safe to reboot the device now (it works, but the screen doesn't
respond to taping) ?
