Hi JeDi,
What version of the familiar distribution were you using?
I tried with the 0.84-rc1 images
( http://familiar.handhelds.org/releases/v0.8.4-rc1/images/ ) but the
kernel you have in the x50v packages you made is 2.6.16, whereas the
ones in 0.84-rc1 ae 2.6.15 based.
That said, I used the GPE image, and it came up nicely (apart from the
touchscreen not working, and having to jiggle around with the root
password setting).
The nfs root works well, and allowed me to set the root password without
needing access to the x50v.
