I have similar experience with my X50, however it seems to freeze/fade at a
line concerning "attempting to set register LCCD1" or whatnot.

Hi,

I have a X50 with wm2003se and I get the fade-to-white bug too.

I'm try it over 10 times and always get it.

I'm sorry, I don't have a regular x50 to test it myself. The kernel I
put online is just the same as the x50v one, except I didn't change
the lcd driver there.
If I get the fade-to-white bug, I never get it again if I reset and try
again...

I know Fisherss has a x50, but I haven't seen him around on this list
the last weeks. Maybe someone else has a x50 too to try this?

Greetz,
JeDi
