I have been lurking for a long time on this list, this is the most
exciting news for me so far. Great job, congratulations!! I am not in
a position to play with my x50v yet, but I sure hope to do so pretty
soon.
If I want to try right now, I know that it will overwrite RAM, so I
will have to do a full backup and restore it later. The last time I
was forced to do this (because of a freeze up), I faced quite a pain
in having ActiveSync recognize it as the same device and sync with the
same data. In fact I don't remember what I finally did now, but I am
worried. Do you folks normally find it simple to restore the entire
state by simply taking a full backup with the native backup utility
before booting Linux and then restore it when done? No issues with
ActiveAync?
Thank you,
Hari
