Then all the data is saved on the rom, so i think you wouldn't lose
anything.
About the step by step guide go to fisherss webpage ( www.fisherss.com )
and follow the steps to boot the kernel, for loading opie and so on,
better wait for fisherss to finish the touchscreen driver.
