Touchscreen woes

Hello,

I've booted the the Angstrom image at via haret as described at
http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/x50vHowTo on an x50v and the
touchscreen is way off. It took ages to calibrate (and only continued
after I pressed many times all over the screen) and then the pointer was
not where I touched. It was mostly left and up from where I touched but
jumped about quite a bit.

First I'd like to check if I'm using the latest kernel and Angstrom
image and default.txt (from http://law.hostsen.net/oe/axim/aximx50v/)
using haret-0.5.0.exe. Excuse me if I missed some information but I
can't find anything on this subject. Please point me in the right
direction if this has been answered before.

Secondly I'd like to ask how I can help with this issue at all. I'm an
experienced linux programmer and user and I've just been given the dell
axim as well as a HTC blueangel as they're no longer wanted at my work.
I've had more success with the blueangel working but I can't find any
recent images for that.
