Hello,
I just picked up an Axim x51v to join in the fun ;)
I promptly loaded the 20070227 kernel/rootfs on to an SD card and was
running linux in no time. I really want to see Wifi on this thing,
and I've been trying to compile a working kernel using the
instructions from http://www.handhelds.org/moin/moin.cgi/DellAximX50
First, I want to replicate the current compiled kernel, so I grabbed
the /proc/config.gz and used that as a starting point. I am using
arm-linux-gcc-3.4.1, so I had to disable EABI in the kernel (as it
requires gcc 4.x and I haven't found a link to download it yet). This
may (or may not) result in the kernel being unable to proceed after
mounting the root filesystem. At any rate, my attempts to compile and
run the kernel have failed.
Can someone post the arm-linux-4.1.1 toolchain? I see that the
zImage-20070227 was compiled with 4.1.1.
Thanks,
Matt
