You don't lose anything only the date and time settings ;-). it build
the kernel-image and the rootfs via Openembedded.org.
Now the aximx50 stuff is in so it isnt so hard anymore. Take a look at
the http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/building-angstrom.

if you have a kernel image and a rootfs you can boot this via haret.

but i think it would be easyier if you take a look at my images on
http://law.hostsen.net/oe first.
i´ll post the gpe-image incl. touchscreen today.
