x51v display implies to load pxafb module at boot with this defconfig.
The alternative is of course to compile it inside the kernel.

Reagarding USB, I have no idea. In fact, I even did not test it.
I will do some tests during this week end.

It reminds me a problem I had at the beginning : you have to
remove/unload rndis driver on the host side before to connect your axim
to it.
