I tried it as well with an x50v and for me it didnt work either. I set the
mirror mode and then start the default.txt. Freeze. If I dont set mirror
mode, I set "Go Go Go" in the haret window, but then it "freezes" as well.

The "old kernel" from the wiki boots though.
