I'm working on the x50v port as well. I haven't got the kernel booting yet.
Although, I'm in this for the long haul; I'm going to get this thing working
or destroy my x50v trying.

I'd like to help in probing Dell to generate more information to further the
support of this project.
Would you be so kind to please send me a list of your contacts made from
Dell and be willing to write a brief synopsis of your progress made to date
so far. For example... are any good leads to follow up on? Who did you felt
were the most influential people that you should be nudging for info. What
is their take or standpoint on having a port out there for the Dell x50v? Do
they want one, are they impartial to it, or are they totally against it? I
feel this this infomation such as this would help me formulate an angle of
attack and keep me from wasting time on avenues to dead ends already
traveled.
