It did not work. Same effect : hang-over pinguin, no serial output. I would
really appreciate your kernel and initrd ;-).

take this haret:

it's a new haret version with serial port initializing code. if you
still can't get serial output, tell me , I will send you the zImage and
initrd which I am using.
