USB support shouldn't be difficult, but there are some GPIO controls
that we can't locate... our guess is that the ASIC controls many
peripherals. We also haven't located the gpios that control the LED
indicators on the x50. PCMCIA/CF support also shouldn't be hard, but
for some reason I can't make it work. :-/
SD support does work.
You can make the FB work on the x50v by using the vsfb.c driver; just
set the resolution and hardware address correctly.
http://bobb.us/~richard/tmp/arm/ has most of my files
I believe that this kernel has working fb on the x50v, but you have to
load the modules manually, so you need to make an initrd with the
correct modules:
http://bobb.us/~richard/tmp/arm/kernel26.tar.bz2
that's really all I have.
I will be out of the country for 2 years starting in November. I'm
going to Novosibirsk, Russia, and I won't have any time to work on
this... in fact, I'm selling my x50v before then. if someone would like
to buy my serial cable before I leave, I'll sell it for $10US (to cover
parts) plus shipping... contact me to confirm, and I'll paypal you the
money. it's kinda hacked together, but it works. I'm not trying to
make money off of it, $10 really is less than I paid for the parts to
start with. I want this port to succeed =] I'll be around to answer
what questions I have 'til november, then I'll be gone.
