Fisherss seemed to think it would probably be ok. The only reason I'm
somewhat hesitant to make the purchase is that I figure that if level
conversion were this easy, everyone would do it this way. I'm
particularly concerned that the current available on pin 21 may be
inadequate to drive the voltage conversion circuit.
Any further insight would be greatly appreciated.
