Subject: Asking for drivers for the Linux port to the Dell Axim X50v
Hi,
I am one integrant of the people (i still haven't coded anything)
that are trying to port GNU/Linux to the Dell Axim X50(v) PDA. We were
searching for drivers for the 2.6 kernel for the above mentioned pda, at
the moment the way to use the USB interface (for the people that don't
have a serial cable) and the x50v framebuffer. Bruce Monroe sent a mail
to our mail-list saying that you could help us finding the correct
person that can help us making the Linux port.
At this moment we have managed to boot the kernel but without any
sign of life in the LCD Screen in the case of the x50v, the developers
who made it possible use a serial cable connected to the computer in
order to receive the output of the kernel.
We would be very happy if you could contact us in the mailing list :)
