Great! My Armedslack current VM is unstable (after the installation
which goes well) on my x86_64 host running BW64. The reason could be
either the ARM kernel or QEMU so I'm stuck at the moment, maybe I
should try running a 32-bit host operating system.

I've had these problems too with my X3.

I did the same thing but would it be possible to install Uboot or
PMON(2000) eventually to boot directly into Linux?

I don't have as much experience as both of you have but I'm learning :).

I believe that was Mike Pellegrino ;-).
