I have an X30 Mid with a memory card that I'm willing to do testing on if
anyone needs it.

Subject: [Aximx30-port] X30 Linux project on hold again?

Hi everyone,

I've been an x30 owner for over two years now and have
followed this group for most of that time as well. As
I had no real useful programming experience, I didn't
think I could contribute much. However, since I
haven't heard much from here even after the
announcement that development started up again last
August, I must ask what sort of help is needed in the
project.

I am seriously considering buying a relatively cheap
x30 unit to tinker with to help out with this project
but am uncertain if that would be of any use
considering my background. Do we need several
volunteers to test and retest the programs sent out by
the programmers or do other simple non-intensive
coding tasks, or are we hampered too much by Dell's
lack of openness about the Axim's hardware?

Thanks.
