update

i am sorry i havent replied in a few days, i finally
finished a massive hardware and software upgrade and
was stuck with links, only problem is that it dosent
play nice with yahoo mail

anyway, to cross compile a kernel you edit the
Makefile and do a search for the ARCH string, replace
that with arm and you should be right

the other option is to do make ARCH=arm menuconfig

also dont forget to apply the x30 framebuffer patches
to the kernel so you can actually see somthing, it
requires a bit of a work around to get it up and
running with the mainline kernel but i will detail
that latter, if you dont want to test the frame buffer
and jst want to see what the hardware compatability is
like then all you need is sshd

now to unbackup 200GB of DVDs

just another update, the above was posted to the wrong
