I very much want to get Linux running on my x30. I'm an experienced
programmer, but I have only beginner experience with Linux development. If
you want to give me tasks to do I'll be more than happy to give some time to
this.

i know there are gnu equivelents, but i thinks its a
case of best tool for the job

as for the other people who have sen me mail, it isnt
the SD card that i care about, i now have both the
hardware (x30) and the time to devlop this project,
getting it into flash will be high prioirty, however
dont expect a nice windows interface to do it as i
only use linux machinces and dont have a winbox that i
can do dev work on

that said i think it would be easy enogh to update the
dell firmaware upgrader software to flash with linux
and the SD upload format of replacing the firmware is
even easier and platform independent

expect to hear more soon
