Admin stuff

Sorry for those of you who had your posts rejected, i
think there were only a couple (considering how livly
this list is) at the moment nearlly 99% of the
incomming messages are spam in asian languages or
people wanting you to pay full price to download full
copies of adobe photoshop and windows xp profesinal -
targeted marking campain or plain stupidity: i'll let
you decide

now for a status report: .....

thats it nothing new no ones working on it and the
admin (me) dosent even have an x30 to work on any
more, i belive we had a working kernel all we need is
(besides someone working on the project) driver
support and a flashable image.

if someone can confirm the working kernel then i may
be able to help out, at the moment i am compiling an
iwmmxt cross compiler for my zaurus which uses the
same pxa270, so it will be fully optimised for our
cpu's

i am willing to put together a base image for flashing
but wont be able to test it, just do the hard work of
compiling and packaging, someone else will have to
tell me the problems (and if i remember we dont have
on board falsh support yet so it looks like boot from
an sd card)

if anyone wants more info post back, in the meantime
look into Open embbeded as it does all the compiling
for you by typing somthing like bitbake <package> eg
bitbake nano and packages it for you as well in that
nice ipkg format

well thats it from me, i might see what i can dig up
as i am working on a couple of hardware projects that
might work on the x30 as well (incresed ram size,
flash and a 2700g chip)
