Hi Shane

I am only involved insofar as having watched it for a while. The
answers are that it is still very much work in progress. It is not
stable, and many parts of the device you may take for granted in
Windows CE are not yet supported - even the basic display and
non-volatile memory support is still at an experimental display.

It is currently in a state where it is pre-pre-pre-alpha, and
certainly should not be considered for any production systems. However
- if you want to get involved, download it and fix bugs - then that is
exactly where it is right now.

I dont beleive a single monolithic install process has been created
for any of the handheld ports yet, even those much furthar down the
line than the X30. It would be a nice step, but we wouldnt want to
gloss over the fact that this is still experimental enough that people
have ended up with unusable PDA's trying, and that you are actually
wiping away your existing pocket PC OS along with all the contacts and
stored data on it. In simpler terms - it is not yet mature enough to
do an installer.
