well it looks like the 2.6.13 kernel is nearing
release and with it is alsa support for pxa2xx AC97
devices, which acording to the wiki the Axim x30 has!
this should help us along a bit if anyone is willing
to do a bit of work to help get the project moving
along, taking inventory of what we have so far we get:
a booting kernel
a serial bluetooth device (should be plug and play)
alsa sound support (might require tweaking)
the only way to get this project moiving is for
someone to do some work on it, i thinkg we have gotten
to the point where very little programming needs to be
done, we just need someone to work on a kernel image
and initrd as well as some haret testing to unlock the
flash and get LED's/SD card insertion done
lets hope we get some takers
