ok as far as i can tell there is no one working on the
x30 at the moment, i know we have a working kernel as
i tried booting it but what we need is hardware
support

this means mainly sound, touchscreen, wifi and flash.
bluetooth should work as its just connected to the BT
serial port of the pxa270 and the bluetooth spec
clearly defines how all bluetooth devices should work
(ie regiester/seting up)

flash should be easy to get working, it just involves
fiddeling with some settings and io pins to allow
writes to flash then linux should be able to write to
flash i belive

sound is easy as its just a AC97 chip, the same as in
the x3 so if we update those drivers then we help the
x3 guys as well

touchscreen is also throgh the AC97 chip if i remeber
corectly so getting sound working should help us with
that

wifi was harder to track down, it sits on the
CF/PCMCIA port and has a linux driver somewhere on
the internet (cant check as handhelds.org is down)
that should work

also anyone who is willing to fiddle with telnet and
haret can figure the io pins out in an afternoon, what
you do is start haret, telnet in, then read the haret
manual on how to turn the i/o's on and off. do this
and take note of what happens (ie led's turn on and
such) that will give us basic led support at least

if youre willing to go futher then you will need to
read some data sheets to work out if you found the
magic R/W pin to the flash chip to allow writes to it

well thats all for the moment and before you say do it
yourself remeber you can help speed up this project if
you want to by lending a hand as every one is donating
thier time, that and i no longer have an x30 :(
