The serial stream is, from everything I know, 3.3V. Pin 25 appears to be
5V TTL out from the document referenced
(http://www.aximsite.com/boards/attachment.php?attachmentid=6461) and is
unrelated to serial, which occupies pins

8 Serial CTS
9 Serial RTS
10 Serial RX
11 Serial TX
12 Ground
13 Serial DSR
14 Serial DTR
