This is incredibly useful information. It's entirely possible that we can use
the powervr linux drivers (which you can download from their site) on the
x50v. whether I can get enough information out of them to write a decent
framebuffer or not, I don't know, but if xwindows works with it then it
doesn't really matter. I actually have the vsfb working now, so I'm trying
to get to the next step. it's slow going, but it's going.
I'm also trying to get USB serial console working.. I have a few ideas that
might work.
the next major thing that I don't have any idea how to do is get the
touchscreen working. I know that the x50 interfaces with the touchscreen
using the pxa's SSP interface, but that interface must connect to another
chip that handles the touchscreen. Possibly the toshiba asic? I don't know.
we have to figure this out.
