Could you post the exact modifications you have done to get this to
happen? I hope to have time this weekend to try it out (unless, of
course, there is someone else out there with an x50v and a serial cable
who beats me to it).

also, which framebuffer driver did you use?

In fact, if I can get ahold of the specific source you used, that would
be great =]

I don't know that I'll have a lot of time to work on it (final for
calculus is tuesday), but I'd like to at least verify that it boots and
see if I can get a framebuffer working.
