looks like this project is going well, i just updated
the wiki to include the data on the touchscreen (ie
the sharp chip i couldnt find info on).
this means we have ID'ed all the chips that i would
consider important
i would like to find out the usb transreciver chip and
what part number that is as it would be nice to work
out if it supports usb host, i have been enjoying this
on my sharp at the moment and it would be great if we
could get it working on the x30 as wll
the usb client port is mux'ed with the second usb host
port so that theshare the same pins, i belive we would
need a usb host capable chip to properly identify the
usb device at the end (ie isynronus, bulk, interupt)
as these are identified with diffrent resitors pulling
the D+ line (i belive) to the 5V line
without that you cant identfy the device on the other
end, the pxa cant handle this as its IO Vout is 3.3V
max
oh well lets see what we can do, it should be a low
pincount device (about 8 pins D+/- in D+/- out Vcc gnd
and most likly an i2c bus) in a SOIC package.
have a look at the pic on the wiki and tell me if you
find anything, should be close to the bottom connector
(lots of small chips down there) and see if you can
provide a data sheet
