Hello,

I have restored my previous work on the kernel and I'll be passing the patch
over to the kernel ML, if you feel like giving it a try you can grab that
stuff from the page I list in the wiki page in the news section.

I have also put online a modified initrd from the H2200 project.

There is no way to login or use networking yet, but at least the kernel is
booting cleanly.

mmc is also somewhat working, tested with an old opie archive and a recent
gpe.

Also the patch has a default config for the X30 so after patching the kernel
simply "make aximx30_defconfig && make all" should be enough.

It is now time to dump GPIO's like crazy to get the rest of the functionality.

Hint: for the ones doing kernel hacking the news flowing in to the kernel ML
are pretty usefull, I wouldn't have been able to restore my previous work
without knowing some quirks and gotchas that went into the kernel since my
previous attempt (it wasn't booting anymore).

BTW, dooes anyone know wheter the X30 is also using the AC97 codec for audio?
This *might* also be important to know to get touchscreen support working.

I am glad my fb driver also works for the X50.

cheers,

-Giuseppe
