Hi,

I hope this is the right list, as the X50 list linked from the Wiki
doesn't exist (yet)...

I just got an Axim X50 as a present from Dell (for being a good
customer ;-)), but I'm not even sure I want to keep it yet, as I
definitely don't want to run Windows. I've been a happy Zaurus SL-5000
user for years now, but wouldn't mind upgrading to something with
integrated bluetooth, Wifi, more CPU, a better screen etc. obviously, but
only if it can run Opie.

So, it seems the support for the X50 is pre-preliminary... I'm no
programmer unfortunately, but could definitely help with compiling and
packaging, i.e. porting Opie ipkgs to the X50, as that's more my domain.
But this does mean that a working kernel is required, and unfortunately,
that's probably the hardest part.

Are people working on the low-level bits required for supporting the X50?
I could do all sorts of testing if that's required.

Matthias
